Scientist (M/F/d) für Innovations und Policyforschung (Full-time / Part-time)

  • Center for Innovation Systems & Policy
  • Our Center for Innovation Systems & Policy is a think tank in national and international research and innovation networks, and it is a key partner for public administration, companies, universities, and research institutions.
  • As part of our international and interdisciplinary team of experts, you will deal with current and future challenges in topics such as research, technology and innovation policy and societal transformation.
  • You will contribute to developing projects in a team in close cooperation with national and international customers.
  • You will work on current research topics such as design and implementation of innovation policies, sociotechnical systems, multilevel governance, stakeholder engagement, green and digital transition, AI governance etc. together with your team.
  • You will prepare research results and communicate them to decisionmakers in politics, business, and science.
  • You will codevelop concepts for new solutions in the fields of research, technology and innovation policy.
  • You will evaluate the impact of existing innovation policies, programs, and initiatives, and derive recommendations
  • You will develop policy measures for research and innovation on the local, national and transnational level
  • You will publish results in scientific, policy oriented and social media channels.
  • You successfully contribute to the acquisition of projects and make an important contribution to strengthen the relations with our customer and partner networks.
Your quaifications as an

Ingenious Partner:

  • Master's degree in a relevant social, economic, or political science or related fields, PhD of advantage
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with different projects in the abovementioned fields, experience with interdisciplinary work is of advantage
  • Interests in applied research and innovationoriented projects as well as transformative research
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable policy recommendations.
  • Responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English

What to expect:

The minimum gross annual salary on a full-time basis (38,5 h/week) according to the collective agreement is EUR 53.256,-. The actual salary will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer company benefits, flexible working conditions, individual training, and career opportunities.

While we appreciate you to join our team in a full-time position, we also offer the option for working part time.
