Senior Linux System Engineer (m/f/d)

Permanent position, full-time - Cologne Your tasks Managing the system administrators within the "Cloud Based Platforms" competence team The conception and further development of our automation and container-based solutions The planning, development, optimization and implementation of individual system solutions for our business and education customers Securing and hardening centralized and decentralized Linux systems The monitoring of provided services Creating scripts and playbooks for automation solutions in the server environment Advancing digitalization in the education sector The willingness to occasionally take part in on-call duty Your profile You have completed training as an IT specialist (or comparable) and have already gained at least 5 years of professional experience You have several years of experience in the administration and operation of Linux systems You have knowledge of automating processes with the help of Ansible or similar tools A good technical understanding, a strong service and solution orientation as well as a structured and careful way of working characterize you You work just as well independently as part of a team We require you to be fluent in written and spoken German Your experience Sound knowledge (at least in combination) in the following areas is desirable:
