Our developer team in Vienna plays a crucial role in powering our B2C marketing platform to send out billions of personalized messages through various mobile channels such as notification inboxes, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging. We leverage customer behavior data to enhance our AI solutions.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write efficient code according to specifications and deadlines.
  • Engage in the complete product lifecycle, from concept to maintenance.
  • Devise simple technical solutions for complex business issues.
  • Ensure thorough testing, debugging, and maintenance of code.
  • Implement coding best practices and create technical documentation.
  • Suggest and implement enhancements, providing technical solutions to Product Managers.
  • Follow Agile practices and contribute to Agile ceremonies.
  • Develop top-quality software to meet customer needs.
  • Mentor and assist Junior Software Developers.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proficient in programming languages like Java and Springboot.
  • Collaborate on system design for High Availability, Scalable, High Performance systems.
  • Comfortable with DevOps mindset and cloud-native thinking.
  • Experience with SQL databases, Terraform/Ansible, and Kubernetes.
  • Preferably hold a degree in Computer Science.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices, especially Scrum or Extreme Programming (XP).
  • Willingness to learn new languages, techniques, and tools.
  • Knowledge of OO, SOLID, TDD, CI/CD.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Minimum proficiency in English.
  • Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge with peers.
  • Ready for on-call responsibilities.

HOW WE DEVELOP

  • Work in small teams of 3-5 individuals with pair-programming.
  • Utilize technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, Redis, Amazon DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Google BigQuery.
  • Apply XP practices and adhere to the Twelve-Factor App principles.
  • Operate in 1-2 week sprints, taking full ownership (DevOps).
