For our facility in Krems we are looking for a:
_ Payroll Specialist (M/F/d)_
_ Part time 19 hours/week_
The Payroll Specialist will support the structure of the payroll function and the way Payroll services are delivered.
Furthermore, they will play an important role in providing significant value to the entire Austrian organization by ensuring state-of-the-art Payroll processing, operations excellence, regulatory compliance, while acting as a liaison to multiple internal stakeholders.
For all activities, the Payroll Specialist demonstrates a continuous improvement mind-set to have issues solved at root cause as well as experience and a passion for delivering successful results with an inclusive team ethic.
Responsibilities
- Independent timely processing of the payrolls for multiple Austrian entities
- Monitoring the output of standard personnel and salary changes
- Assessing the personnel and salary changes provided for accuracy and workability in terms of collective bargaining, law and regulations and is aware of developments in these fields, advises on changes, supports in the implementation of new regulations
- Performing controls on taxes and social security contributions and the connection with the financial administration
- All Payroll controls for SOX and other audits
- Expats and commuters processing, consultation on international remuneration with EY & Global Mobility
- Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, and yearend closure
- Ensuring accurate time tracking according to local regulations
- Preparing periodic metrics reports regarding issues such as department efficiency and volumes; as well as contribute to the development of a Payroll dashboard
- Payroll system documentation, process optimization and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting or another relevant Payroll qualification; in lieu of a degree, the equivalent in experience and evident of exceptional ability preferred
- Proven experience in a complex multinational business environment, with focus on Payroll for multiple entities strongly preferred
- Knowledge of all aspects in Payroll including equitybased compensation, Expats, Commuters and Employee Share Purchase plans
- Familiar with the latest developments in Payroll, Labor Law, Social Security, Tax, Working Time Regulations etc.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with business and support teams within country and region
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, strong personal integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate relevant information to all levels of the organization. Fluent in English and German (written and spoken), other European languages is a plus
