Cropster, we are building market-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to empower businesses throughout the coffee supply chain.

Thousands of customers all over the world from farm to cup use our software products to make better coffee.

Product designers at Cropster take raw ideas and make them into something everyone can relate to and rally behind.

We start from the very early stages:

finding the right problem to tackle, exploring ideas for how to solve it, and then refining it into a coherent solution.


Our product designers carry out research, brainstorming, sketching, and prototyping and collaborate with our product managers and engineers to ship great products.

We are empathetic user advocates and care deeply about our users' experience and our customers' needs.


We use Figjam and Figma for ideation and prototyping of solutions at all levels of fidelity and have a solid Design System in place to keep our UI consistent across products.

As a product designer at Cropster, you will be part of our international, highly supportive, and collaborative product design team where we do regular design critiques and foster a feedback-giving and learning environment.

The preferred locations for this role are
Innsbruck or Vienna.

What you'll do:

  • Design concepts and user flows for our products.
  • Help organize and conduct user research — users are front and center in our design process.
  • Contribute to the Cropster UI with wireframes and prototypes in different levels of fidelity, that are consistent with our design language.
  • Collaborate with Engineering as your changes are implemented and onthefly decisions are needed.
  • Collaborate in further developing our design system.
  • Act as a customer advocate while continuously partnering with product managers, engineers, and other design practitioners to develop workable design solutions.

What you'll work on:

  • A new product that helps coffee roasters increase operating efficiency.
  • Datadriven interactive tools that help coffee roasters make better and more informed decisions on how to improve coffee quality in the cup.
  • Figuring out how we can integrate disjointed, Exceldriven offline processes into a coherent eCommerce workflow that helps our customers grow their businesses.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in defining and understanding user flows.
  • Further concepting (i.e. Wireframing, interactive prototypes).
  • Experience in writing/working with user stories/job stories, JTBD, or such.
  • Experience working in crossfunctional environments (codesign, prototype handover, UX signoffs)
  • Strong understanding of planning, conducting, and synthesizing your own UX research.
  • Understanding that good design is not about trends but is built on top of principles and tradeoffs (we like wellreasoned design decisions).
  • Strong communication skills in English.

That said, we'd be particularly delighted to hire someone with:

  • Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, and/or data visualization.
  • Experience working on software products.

The range for this position is
