  • The Operational Tax Specialist will support the FRA team acting as a Subject Matter Expert service oriented to enable service lines to deliver a highperforming organization and contribute to implement to improvements/standard solutions while cultivating a customer service focus culture.
  • The Operational Tax Specialist will be responsible to provide expert advice for the specific Tax area in the FRA Team

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering a full range of tax activities in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
  • Responsible for providing accurate operational information and advice to support decision making of business managers
  • Liaise with the Tax team on tax regulation changes and various taxation issues to ensure processes and controls are implemented or enhanced according to compliance policies and requirements
  • Provide accurate and relevant information to assess market risks and opportunities
  • Monitor tax law changes, remain up to date and advise the Statutory Manager on emerging issues
  • Prepare significant journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Identify new opportunities for process improvements and improve the efficiency and control environment
  • Perform periodend activities in accordance with the financial close schedules and the established guidelines.
  • Take initiatives and provide support for the Statutory manager on ad hoc tasks

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Certified Finance/Accounting or equivalent degree
  • 24 years' finance accounting experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting, healthcare industry or large corporation with shared service concept
  • SAP knowledge
  • Excellent working knowledge of both German and English

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement.

For this position the minimum salary is €49,804.58 per year (on a full-time basis). We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications.
