Senior Data Science Consultant

Axians ICT Austria GmbH is a company with over 28 years of experience working in strategic partnerships in IT services. The Advanced Analytics department focuses on Big Data and cognitive solutions to help clients streamline business processes, make evidence-based decisions, and identify trends or risks early on. Technologies like Chatbot, image recognition, and predictive models are some examples of what we develop.

In this Business Unit in Vienna, we are looking for support for innovative and creative solutions.

Your Mission
  • You support clients in creating value for them by understanding their needs, conducting appropriate analyses, and deriving valuable insights
  • You lead projects, handle communication, team management, project implementation, and support sales in the bidding process
  • You find unique solutions for each project from strategy to operational implementation of specific products and applications
  • You select Machine Learning and AI models for Predictive Analytics, Computer Vision, NLP, and train the solutions
  • You create presentations on your insights and recommendations, delivering them to colleagues, clients, a wide audience, or decision-makers
  • You are part of the international AI network within the group, collaborating with other Data Scientists and experts, sharing knowledge through mentoring
What Makes You Stand Out
  • You have a degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science, along with experience as a Data Scientist/AI Developer
  • You have excellent Python skills, experience with common database management systems, and Computer Vision projects
  • You bring valuable agile software development know-how (Coding standards, Build, Deployment, Version Control, Unit Testing, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration)
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and administering Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, etc.) is advantageous
  • You communicate in German and English, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and clients
  • You are curious, enjoy sharing knowledge, and think creatively and entrepreneurially

Your Benefits

For this full-time position, the annual gross salary is X Euro, and depending on qualifications and experience, we offer a corresponding salary increase.
