As a member of our diverse global team, you will actively shape and enhance our comprehensive cyber security suite – AVL SecGuard, ensuring full compliance with cyber security standards.   • Enhance existing AVL software tools focusing on cyber security and software-defined vehicles
  • Engage in full stack software development: Frontend with Angular 12 (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), Backend using Python (Flask), working with Database (Postgres), and establishing Communication between Components using MQTT and JSON
  • Develop and deploy demonstration systems such as software prototypes on provided development hardware
  • Coordinate software requirements and solutions collaboratively with customers and engineers across various internal departments
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative cybersecurity and software-defined vehicle concepts adhering to industry standards and current market demands
  • Specialize in Threat Intelligence Engineering by designing and executing security test scenarios for vehicle infrastructure testing and validation
  • Hold a relevant degree (e.g., University of Technology, IT security, computer science, telematics, mechatronics) coupled with at least 3 years of experience in cyber security
  • Possess proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, TypeScript, C++, C, CI/CD practices (Microsoft Azure), and agile software development techniques
  • Have experience with Linux Operating Systems (specifically Debian Distributions)
  • Demonstrate expertise in threat analysis and risk management (familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434 or ISO is advantageous)
  • Excel in team environments and communicate effectively
  • Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in German is considered a plus
  • Openness to travel when required
