We are currently offering a permanent position as a Sea Freight Forwarding Specialist (m/f/d) at our Vienna location within our Air & Sea Division. You will be the driving force behind seamless transportation across the seas. If you are passionate about logistics and want to work in a motivated team, then DSV is the place for you. Your Responsibilities
  • Independently support and advise your customers and suppliers
  • Manage, organize, and supervise the entire sea freight transport (LCL and FCL)
  • Proactively communicate with customers, DSV offices, agents, subcontractors, and freight forwarders in daily operations
  • Receive customer orders and verify all shipping and order-related data and documents (CargoWise One)
  • Handle billing and invoice control for services
  • Process irregularities, complaints, and escalations
Your Profile
  • Completion of a commercial apprenticeship as a freight forwarder (m/f/d) or in another business segment
  • Previous solid knowledge in sea freight and operational freight knowledge
  • Structured, organized, and independent working is natural for you
  • Your strong service mentality ensures timely order processing
  • Good command of German and English (both verbal and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and IT systems

Compensation is based on the Collective Agreement for Employees' Salary Table Forwarding & Logistics 2023 Austria, current version, with a salary increase based on experience and qualifications. The minimum salary for the position/grading B2 is 2,644.00 EUR gross per month for a full-time position. Overpayment is possible depending on professional experience.
