We are looking to expand our team with a passionate Sous Chef with experience in upscale gastronomy and a similar position, who prefers a creative and modern traditional cuisine using regional products.

Your work environment:

• Assisting and overseeing the preparation and production of dishes and menus for our Fine Dining & Local Mediterranean Restaurant as well as events
• Handling food orders in collaboration with the Head Chef
• Monitoring and ensuring the specified quality standards in the entire production area
• Supervising the kitchen staff
• Proper storage of all food and raw materials including ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Training new staff in the maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of technical equipment and ensuring careful handling of inventory
• Recording and arranging necessary repairs in the kitchen area

Who you are:

• Completed vocational training as a Chef
• Several years of experience in upscale hotels/restaurants in a similar position
• Experience in cost calculation, creativity, and a passion for cooking
• Enjoy training and guiding staff
• Independent, enthusiastic, willing to take responsibility, and enjoy working in a team
• Organized with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge and implementation of all legal hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Advanced German and English language skills

Our wages and salaries are based on the collective agreement for workers/employees in the hotel and catering industry. We offer a payment significantly above the collective agreement and commensurate with your professional experience.
