Your Role
  • Execute target discovery and validation experiments to contribute to the development of cutting-edge I&I medications.
  • Collaborate on the creation of large-scale screening assays (functional, high content microscopy, multi-omics) as part of a unique lab-in-the-loop AI discovery system.
  • Develop screening assays to bolster early-stage small molecule discovery, encompassing cell engineering, chemical screens, and hit validation studies for hit-to-lead nomination.
  • Be an essential part of a flat cross-functional team that fully understands the challenges within each domain and is committed to making an impact.
  • Progress into a scientific leadership position as the company progresses, and effectively communicate your work to both internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile
  • Hold a Ph.D. with a specialization in systems immunology, cell/molecular biology, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in cell line engineering and standard molecular biology techniques like cloning, KD/KO, qPCR, western blot.
  • Experienced in systems biology methodologies utilizing CRISPR/Cas9/siRNA, cell-based reporter assays, or chemical screening with multi-omics endpoints.
  • Strong advocate for reproducibility best practices, emphasizing meticulous documentation of experimental parameters in electronic lab notebooks. Familiarity with advanced data management and analysis (R, Python) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (German not mandatory).
  • Solution-focused, determined systems thinker with a proven history of translating research into practical applications.

The headquarters and primary R&D will be located in the Vienna area.

In accordance with Austrian regulations, we list a minimum gross annual salary of 60,000€ for this role. However, the actual salary will be higher, contingent on the candidate's credentials and experience.
