Accounting AT & Statutory Reporting is a department of Group Accounting and performs full scope of activities connected with Accounting for Erste Group Bank AG and Erste Bank der oesterreichischen Sparkassen AG on the one hand and has part of group responsibility for statutory reporting.


Your Tasks:

  • Be part of the financial statement process (monthly, halfyear and yearend) for Erste Bank der oesterreichischen Sparkassen AG
  • Support in accounting topics (IFRS and UGB) by creating reports and working with the local databases and core banking systems
  • Help automating accounting reports and processes
  • Support analyzing financial results and understand economic developments

Your Background:

  • Solid finance background; currently enrolled at a University/University of Applied Science (preferred: financial management / banking)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, SAP or lowcode programming skills are a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly familiarize with new tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German; English C 1 is welcomed
