Project Manager for Power Device Technology Development

The role of Project Manager for Power Device Technology Development requires project management skills, technical expertise, exceptional communication abilities, and a high level of flexibility.

In this position, you will:

  • Plan, control, and execute technology development projects for SiC-MOSFET, Si-IGBT, and diode chip technologies across various Infineon sites.
  • Conduct forward-looking risk management to proactively identify technical challenges and business opportunities.
  • Take full responsibility as a project manager by continually assessing progress, adjusting project plans, aligning development targets, managing resources and budget, and implementing professional risk management.
  • Form, guide, and motivate cross-functional project teams by fostering a positive team spirit.
  • Identify stakeholders (internal and external) and build relationships with internal parties, considering their interests in the project.
  • Apply in-depth technical knowledge in multiple areas.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering, with a PhD being advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in technology development or transfer management.
  • At least 4 years of project leadership experience, preferably in an industrial development setting.
  • A strong technical understanding of power device physics, technology development, and semiconductor processing.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to collaborate successfully with stakeholders.
  • Project management certification (IPMA C) (an advantage).
  • Excellent English skills, with German proficiency being a bonus.
