Purpose
Optimizing systems and processes as well their execution is crucial to delight our customers and ensure strong business relationships.

In the direction to digitalize and build a data driven SPSC, in 2024 will be going-live two major regional initiatives:

  • Sourcing Plan Optimizer
  • A4E (Accuracy for Efficiency)
  • Plant Scheduling.
They both have the goal to harmonize and streamline Operations Planning and Execution among the European plants.


The A4E Scheduling Planner will play a strategic role in ensuring the deployment, user training and utilization of the tool.


In this role, He/She will define regular meetings with Local Teams to make sure best practices and processes are well understood and implemented.


He/She will need to reinforce the understanding of being part of a regional supply chain network, working as a single regional team spread across various plants, with a common goal to successfully meet the SLA deadlines.


He/She will be the key link between Production Operations and Supply Chain to help optimizing the scheduling of our assets in line with the demand and monitoring its execution through metrics, KPIs and reports.

The scope of this activities is for the entire European Region and for all seed crops.


To be successful in this role, the A4E Scheduling Planner will be actively involved and understands the strategy, the operational plan and constraints of the seed business in Europe.


The A4E Scheduling Planner will report to the Operation and System Manager and will receive guidance and directions from him.


Responsibilities

  • Operation planning and execution
  • Optimize the assets available in the network to fulfill demand through tools such the Sourcing Plan Optimizer and the A4E Plant Scheduling tool
  • Ensure constraints such as capacity, compliance and commercial treatment strategy or any other may help increasing the accuracy of the results are timely defined, implemented and respected
  • Evaluate Sourcing Plan Optimizer results through multiple scenarios iterations with the goal to identify the optimal one
  • Ensure inputs and constraints are adjusted to maximize Supply Chain Optimizer effectiveness
  • Define and implement Operation Planning methodology
  • Define KPIs and reports to monitor Operation activities
  • Selfsufficient in developing basic reports to run own analysis
  • Lead discussions between local teams and leadership
  • Participate in defining Allocation, Volume Planning, Buffer strategy definition
  • Provide guidance to Operation analysts and Business Data Steward
  • A4E Functional BPE
  • Coordinate with A4E Technical BPE to Lead A4E Plant Scheduling defining implementation and enhancements
  • Understand 2 way communication and impacts between A4E and SAP
  • Coordinate with A4E SME to make sure Functional and technical specifications meets expectations
  • Supply Chain Coordination
  • Work closely with global, regional, and plantlevel supply chain and production colleagues as necessary.
  • Support regional and global supply chain projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • MBA or Master's degree desirable or other supply chain credentials preferred.
  • Strong experience in implementing and understanding operation optimization tools
  • Knowledge programming languages such as python, R or ML principles
  • Being familiar with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Dremio, Tableau Prep
  • Being familiar with reporting and data visualization tools as Tableau, Power BI
  • 710 years' professional experience, with at least 5 years' experience in supply chain. Experience in agribusiness desirable.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and/or travel as required.
  • Strong experience with SAP and BW
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability and comfort working with large and complex datasets.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize work, work under time constraints and under pressure.
  • Ability and experience in a highly international work environment.
