What do we do?:

Electra was born in 2021 out of the desire to make cities more sustainable, quieter and cleaner, and to accelerate the shift to electric vehicles by tackling the main obstacle of recharging. Electra promotes electric mobility by expanding fast charging in cities.


We are constantly innovating to facilitate the recharging of electric vehicles with a network of fast charging hubs (15 to 30 minutes maximum) and to provide a seamless and simplified user experience.

With locations in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, and Milan, we are pursuing the
goal of establishing a fast-charging network of 8,000 charging points by 2030 in order to participate in the energy transition in Europe.


In less than 24 months, we have:

  • Set up more than 250 charging points and secured 4000 charging points across Europe
  • Opened offices in France, Belgium and Italy
  • Received €175 million in funding
  • Joined the French Tech Next 40

Your mission
As an
Architect, you'll be working to design and deploy ultra-fast charging stations in Switzerland and Austria.

You'll be working with the Development team to design attractive charging locations and enhance customer experience as well as with the Operations team to time-effectively roll-out the secured locations.


Your role

  • Develop architectural solutions for charging stations. Responsible for all aspects of the design and planning of Electra charging stations.
  • Create necessary documentation to respond to tender requests.
  • Create construction plans, diagrams, photos, videos, and 3D renderings.
  • Visit future locations for the installation of Electra stations.
  • Prepare files for urban planning permits.
  • Coordinate with the engineering and installation partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department for the creation and installation of signage at the stations.

Your profile
You are a dynamic and responsive person with an interest in the field of electric vehicle charging. You are organized, meticulous, and versatile by nature. You have good communication skills that allow you to easily interact with various project stakeholders. You know the specificities of urban planning in Switzerland and/or Austria

Required skills for the position:

  • You have an degree in Architecture or equivalent with 2+ years work experience
  • You are familiar with all project realisation phases (from design to execution).
  • Proficient in Sketchup, Illustrator, Artlantis, Photoshop, and Autocad (mandatory). Twinmotion would be a plus.
  • You have experience participating in tenders (AOs) and in administrative procedures related to urban planning.
  • You speak and write German and English at a professional level (Basic knowledge of French would be a plus).
  • You may occasionally be required to travel to visit our stations and future construction sites in Switzerland and/or Austria.
  • You are interested in current energy and environmental topics with a passion for electromobility
