The team "Underwriting Processes" acts as the owner for non-retail risk policies and procedures along the credit and rating process.

We drive the optimization and digital transformation of non-retail credit risk processes which includes supporting the realization of related group-wide projects and the operative monitoring of credit risk.

Furthermore it also coordinates deliveries to regulatory audits and requests in the area of non-retail credit risk framework and processes.

Due to recent changes in our department we are looking for a functional lead for a team of experts. Together with your team you are responsible for the credit risk policy framework for non-retail clients. To drive automation and digitalization, you contribute in different change the bank initiatives.

Furthermore together with the team you will be the main center of coordination and communication when it comes to regulatory developments and inspections in the area of non-retail credit risk.


Your Tasks:

  • Shaping our credit risk framework and governance by setting and implementing groupwide credit risk policies and procedures along the nonretail credit process including the saving banks
  • Take the lead for credit risk related topics and manage process changes along the credit process endtoend
  • Develop your own workable solutions and experiment with new technologies supported by a dedicated development team that support our digitalization efforts within the department
  • Acting as reliable SPOC within the area of nonretail credit risk when it comes to regulatory inquiries

Your Background:

  • Min. 7 years of experience in banking and consulting with a good understanding of credit risk management / underwriting processes
  • Experience in crossfunctional programs and projects
  • Knowhow and experience with regulatory standards and the regulatory framework
  • Full professional proficiency in German and English, an additional CEE language is an asset
