About The Role:

Entain is hiring a Head of Gaming (DACH) to join our European team.

As our Head of Gaming (DACH) you will be responsible for the commercial performance of DACH Gaming as a whole and of all relevant gaming verticals (Slots, Table, Live, and Bingo) for all relevant gaming brands (Bwin, Party, Ladbrokes, etc).


We're looking for someone with a passion for Gaming, a creative individual, and someone with a desire to evolve the Gaming experience.

You will be responsible for the DACH Gaming Product Roadmap, collaborating and working closely with Entain Product, Centre of Excellence owners & internal stakeholders to ensure the Gaming Product Roadmaps solve for customer needs and meet brand ambitions, including support of compliance, regulation, and responsible gambling policy implementation.


The success in this role will be gauged by achieving strategic milestones outlined in the Gaming strategy within the Group, as well as by consistently surpassing competitor brands' Gaming NGR on a quarterly and annual basis.

What you will do

Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the gaming team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Gaming Strategy: Develop and implement leading-edge growth strategies & global best practices in Gaming creating market-leading customer experiences in alignment with the company's objectives, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Portfolio Management:Oversee the management of the gaming portfolio, working with the Product & Technology teams and Content Suppliers to ensure the content proposition is market-leading and commercially best in the market, including exclusive in-house and third-party titles. Work with the Product and Technology teams to ensure the 1-year plan for all brands is supported, delivered, and aligned across all facets of the business, delivering the strategic and commercial goals.

Product Development:Work with Product & Technology to ensure the Gaming platform is robust and delivers a flawless experience to Gaming Customers, ensuring all brands, websites, and Apps are market-leading and innovative.

Commercial: Accountable for the Gaming P&L, delivering the financial plan targets for NGR, customer & behavioral metrics & targets, as well as supporting brand metrics for all brands.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure gaming operations are fully compliant with relevant laws and regulations in all jurisdictions of operation.

Proposition Planning:Be responsible for and evolve product propositions and cross-sell, ensuring the experience is market-leading and delivers to marketing-leading targets.

Market Analysis: Understand the customer and their behaviors, understand the current and future market environment intimately, maintain an external orientation to ensure the business stays informed of innovations and competitor activities in the market and own and communicate a vision that will deliver long-term Commercial success for Gaming.

Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of gaming products, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue and profitability.

Responsible Gambling: Champion & lead Responsible Gambling; ensure that responsibility for the customer is at the forefront of how we operate and considered in all we do.

Relationship: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with game providers, regulatory authorities, and other industry stakeholders to drive business growth and mitigate risks.

Communication: Ensure effective communications around Gaming plans and activities within the team, across the business & the Group.

Who you are

  • Senior Leader experience in a Multi Brand Gaming Business including significant roles within toptier consumer businesses that have a strong brand marketing focus/reputation
  • Proven experience delivering Gaming performance across a range of different roles/companies
  • Proven track record developing Gaming innovations
  • Rich expertise in all aspects of Gaming Product and Content, Commercial Performance, Operations
  • Experience developing and implementing Gaming strategies in multichannel organizations
  • Experience managing Third Party Supplier relationships with top tier Third Party Suppliers
  • Proven track record recruiting and developing teams of varying levels of skill and experience
