Job Description:

In this role, you will conduct advanced research and specialize in a specific field. Your responsibilities include delivering lectures, mentoring students, and contributing to administrative tasks. Key tasks involve independent research, securing research funding in soil-landscape science, geomorphology, and landscape evolution modeling. You will also collaborate on scientific projects, teach physical geography, publish scientific papers, and support university administrative processes.

Professional competences:

To excel in this role, you need a Ph.D. in Geography or a related field focusing on soil geography, geomorphology, and landscape evolution modeling. Proficiency with geographic computation tools like R, C, GIS, and experience in soil and geomorphic fieldwork are essential. International experience is highly desirable, along with a proven track record of publishing in international peer-reviewed journals and acquiring external funding. Strong English skills are a must. The ideal candidate is independent, yet collaborative, organized, well-versed in modern computing tools, and adept at communicating with project partners.
