Complexity Science Hub Vienna is a young research institution dedicated to gaining a deeper quantitative and predictive understanding of complex systems.

For our constantly institute we are hiring a

NETWORK & SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Responsibility for the operational administration and further development of the LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi
  • Ensure a continuous operation of the network infrastructure and actively assist in troubleshooting
  • Systems security maintenance and management of IT security issues

PROFILE

  • Education with a focus on IT or comparable qualifications is desirable
  • Experience in Linux system administration, network administration, and systems security
  • Opensource affinity and extensive Linux skills; knowledge of Windows and macOS
  • Experience with projects/technologies such as o OPNsense o OpenVPN o Wireguard o Active Directory/LDAP
  • Handson mentality and ability to work independently
  • Very good English and good German skills.

WE OFFER
