Your key responsibilites:

Maintaining oversight of processes and technical changes for the assigned product in a specific contract manufacturing organization

Leadership of technical activities for the transfers/introduction of products to third parties and liaises efficiently with involved functions

In collaboration with manufacturing experts, providing technical expertise

Providing support with the selection of a CMO site and responsibility for the conformity of the technology to be transferred / introduced

In collaboration with the transferring site or TRD, defining and monitoring the scope, time schedule and progress of technical projects

Liaises with various internal and external functions, acting as a representative of MS&T within the relevant supplier relationship teams. Closely cooperating with ESO functions (Quality Assurance, LCM, SCM, etc.), and establishing relations with CMOs with special focus to ensure and improve product process capability, to keep up to date the knowledge of the process and to maintain the product in a constant state of validation

Supporting continuous process and quality improvements

Tracking the parameters for continuous process verification received from CMOs

Understanding and management of data trending and statistical analysis for the following purposes

Deepening and broadening process understanding and knowledge

Detecting issues related to process capability, e.g. systematic quality defects

Supporting the Quality department in ensuring inspection preparedness (pre-approval inspection)

What you ́ll bring to the role:

University degree in pharmacy, chemistry or other equivalent natural science degree

Fluency in English, knowledge of local language preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

8-10 years of relevant working experience

Experience in drug substance manufacturing and/or development (large molecules)

Experience in a matrix organization

Commitment to travel

Location: the position can be based in Kundl (AT), Ljubljana (SLO) or Madrid (ES). Please note, that we currently cannot provide relocation support for this position.

Applications for Austria: In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 73.112,90/year (on a full time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
