Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody.

We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world.

We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.


Your responsibilities:

  • You will become part of two international teams. One that implements a sub system of a huge roadside solution. The other one implements the graphical user interface of the roadside software. You will augment both teams with your expertise.
  • Therefore you need to support the teams in having a common development and build environment that it is maintained and continuously improved.
  • Enable the deployment of the whole solution by automating it with Ansible.
  • Automate quality assurance and testing.
  • Help with consistent error reporting that makes the task of our Support Team easier

Your profile:

  • You are a team player: You understand the needs and goals of the teams and find a pragmatic and balanced solution to support them achieving these goals.
  • An open mind for new technologies and changes/transitions.
  • Professional experience of Software Development in C# using MS Visual Studio as well as using MS Visual Studio Tools to tailor test executions and builds.
  • Professional experience with Docker, build servers and GitLab.
  • Professional experience with managing MS Azure cloud services and writing management tools for it.
  • Experience with Boost, SQL (Oracle, SQLite), CMAKE, crossplatform development Linux and Windows is nicetohave.
  • Experience with Ansible playbooks is nice to have.
  • Fluent English, German would be an advantage
