• Undertake hardware and power electronics development for inverters in the automotive industry
• Create simulation models utilizing Matlab/Simulink/Plecs and coordinate tests for model validation
• Prepare, set up, and conduct development-related measurements
• Develop and revise circuit diagrams, including assisting with PCB design
• Implement development processes adhering to Automotive Spice, ISO26262 standards

We are looking for an individual who is deeply enthusiastic about power electronics and is eager to contribute their drive and dedication to our team.

• Technical background (Masters) in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or technical physics
• Comprehensive understanding of intricate systems encompassing mechanics, electronics, and software
• Keen interest in power electronics
• Initial exposure to MATLAB/Simulink and/or Plecs
• Proficient in German with good English language proficiency

Compensation

We are committed to offering a competitive and appealing compensation package. The annual gross salary (based on 38.5 hours/week) in line with the collective agreement for the automotive industry starts at €58,800,- for this role. Adjustments based on relevant experience and qualifications are standard practice.

This role is available at various Magna Powertrain sites including St. Valentin, Lannach, Traiskirchen, or Untergruppenbach.
