Our portfolio in Air Traffic Management (ATM) is designed to deliver comprehensive solutions to the aviation industry. From automation to tower systems, from voice communication to traffic optimization, from information management to surveillance, from networks to UTM and recording. With the new X10 voice communication solution, we are opening the next chapter in transforming Air Traffic Management communication into IT services. As a Service Engineer (all genders), you ensure that our customers' systems run uninterrupted, which is a significant contribution to safe flight operations. Technologies: Linux Red Hat, VMware, Ansible, Postgres, Jenkins, GIT, container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), Java/Groovy, Python, Kamailio, network protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, and Wireshark), JIRA, JAMA, ITSM References.

Responsibilities
  • You are the point of contact for your customers at the 3rd level/vendor support level, analyzing and resolving system errors.
  • You plan and implement system updates and expansions.
  • Due to your close relationship with the customer, you understand their needs and operational requirements and contribute to ongoing product improvements.
  • You participate in international projects in collaboration with branches and partner companies.
  • Conducting customer training sessions both on-site and at the headquarters completes your area of responsibility.
Qualifications
  • You have completed education focusing on computer science or network technology and have at least 5 years of professional experience in service or systems engineering.
  • You possess technical skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork, remaining composed even in critical situations.
  • You have a strong interest in embedded systems, virtualization, network technology, and are familiar with at least some of these technologies/tools: Linux Red Hat, VMware, Ansible, Zabbix, Postgres, Jenkins, GIT, container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), Java/Groovy, Python, Kamailio, network protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, and Wireshark), JIRA, JAMA, ITSM.
  • Do you enjoy demonstrating complex solutions and working with different cultures?
  • You enjoy visiting your customers and being on international business trips (approx. 25%), thus you are fluent in English.

Gross annual salary from

EUR 43,553

This salary indication represents the collectively agreed minimum salary based on a 38.5-hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from market-conforming overpayments depending on your professional experience and expertise and is part of our attractive total package.
