As an attractive employer, Erste Group offers interesting career opportunities in an international environment.- The department Model Methodology & Development is the central function responsible for the development and maintenance of models used in the analysis of credit risk, in particular regulatory Pillar 1 IRB models, Pillar 2 and IFRS 9 models.

It is also responsible for the definition of group-wide model development standards.- Your Tasks- Support the LGD & CCF team in the development and maintenance of the group-wide credit risk model methodology

  • Contribute to datarelated topics, such as ensuring adequate data quality / consistency
  • Support documentation of models for internal and external approval, create adhoc analyses and get involved in Run-TheBank activities
  • Your Background
  • Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Banking and (Quantitative) Finance
  • Strong team player and highly motivated to learn bestpractices in statistical analysis of large data sets
  • Profound knowledge of applied statistics (e.g., multivariate data and regression analysis) as well as experience in a statistical programming language (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R) and MS Office
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English (additionally German and/or other CEE language would be an advantage)
