Job Description

SGS Digital Trust Services is looking for a student to support IT administration in Graz. The role involves managing, maintaining, and enhancing the IT infrastructure, and collaborating with IT teams from various locations.

As a student, you:

  • Will be part of an international team, working with the local team in Graz and experts from SGS based in Barcelona and Delft.
  • Will learn about various IT administration topics through a structured learning plan while participating in daily operational tasks and support.
  • Will have a part-time contract for at least 1 year, working 20 hours/week.
  • Will have the opportunity to join the SGS Digital Trust Services team in Graz.

Qualifications

You:

  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and skill development.
  • Have a record of academic progress in Graz or the surrounding area.
  • Possess proficiency in both German and English to work effectively in an international setting.

Desirable skills:

  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Familiarity with Windows Systems (domain, Active Directory, LDAP).
  • Knowledge of Virtualization Infrastructure (VMware, Proxmox).
  • Experience with content management systems (Git).
  • Ability to script in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • Familiarity with Ansible.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux Server administration.
