Specific tasks and tangible deliverables:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of FSS/CEB and the guidance of the substantive officer, the Individual Contractor will perform the following specific tasks: - Follow-up with relevant countries regarding submission of new case information;

  • Support the ongoing maintenance and updating of the StAR database on a monthly basis;
  • Conduct case research on international asset recovery cases to update case entries and identify new cases to be included;
  • Respond to external inquiries about database entries, in coordination with StAR staff;
  • Review and input new cases or case updates based on followup questionnaires received directly by StAR as well as circulated by the UNODC;
  • Support followup to GFAR Action Series meetings held at COSP10, including next steps for focus countries and organization of further asset recovery case meetings, including travel to those meetings;
  • Track contacts and meetings for focus countries and requested jurisdictions;
  • Perform other research/knowledge work for StAR, as required and agreed on with the supervisor.
