  • Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar (with TotalEnergies, in the USA)
  • Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

  • In this position you will lead the innovation and product management by performing three major functions: Allocating and settingup teams for projects, Managing processes and monitoring progress, Expanding innovation while transferring knowledge and inspiration to market organizations.
    Your tasks
  • Defines the longterm innovation development plans for our brands in the region, in alignment with senior management and observes continuously if and how strategy and plans must be adapted to changing market circumstances.
  • Builds consumers, competitors and market knowledge on the respective categories through traditional and innovative research tools leading to actionable activities.
  • Decides on the longterm strategy and the 12 Q rolling activity plan of the managed categories.
  • You create a roadmap of innovations for brand equity contributors, from a central perspective, for the area of fuels, car care products, shop and gastro equity builders, with the goal to maximize margins that contribute to the achievement of the long term financial targets, drives differentiation from competition and generates increased traffic to OMV filling stations.
  • Defines the whole marketing mix (proposition, product, packaging, price, promotion) for new products and leads the product development from concept to approved formulations and all HSSE /legally relevant aspects.
  • Ensure alignment with all countries via driving efficient, seamless execution process and clear responsibilities
  • Owns OMV /VIVA branded product innovation and communication in partnership with Local Convenience Teams with focus to maximize margins within selected categories.
  • Identifies best practices and makes sure it is shared across the countries and provides latest information about customer trends and competitor activities to the Countries.
  • Evaluates the financial results of the managed categories against agreed targets.
  • Lead of internal and external team associated to Innovation and Product Management by leading, motivating and developing assigned members and managing external partners and agencies.

Your profile

  • You have a master's degree in economics, Marketing or Business.
  • You have minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Pragmatic approach. Analytical skills and creative potential.
  • Solution
- and goal oriented with a "Hands-on" mentality.

  • Digitally savvy and excellent communication skills.
  • Financial & economical knowledge and experience in project management across several geographies with different levels of development.
