Your professional field of activity:
The start of the contract is negotiable. The employment period is 3 years from the beginning of the contract.
Your future tasks:
Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:
_Collaboration and research in the field of __Calculus of variations and partial differential equations:_*- You identify and address research questions in the field of Calculus of variations and partial differential equations.
- You become an active team member of the "Applied Mathematics and Modeling" research group.
_Interdisciplinary collaboration:_
- You participate in international scientific collaborations, as well as in international conferences and workshops.
_Collaboration in teaching and administration:_
- You participate in the administration of the institute, teaching, and research.
- You hold courses and examinations in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement and you
Required Qualifications/Position Requirement:
- Completed doctorate in mathematics before the contract starts.
- Emphasis in one or more of the following areas: Calculus of variations, partial differential equations.
- Research competence & initiative demonstrated through international publications in peer relevant media.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- You are goaloriented and have a high motivation to strive for scientific excellence.
- You are not entitled to compensation for travel and accommodation expenses incurred in connection with the admission process.
