Wir sind auf der Suche nach Mitarbeiter*innen für das an der Johannes Kepler Universität (JKU) Linz eingerichtete Christian Doppler Labor für Verteilte Mikrowellen
- und Terahertzsysteme für Sensoren und Datenverbindungen (CDL-MWTH). Die Forschungsthemen des Labors umfassen die Entwicklung von integrierten Hochfrequenzschaltungen (HF-Schaltungen), HF-Systemen sowie die zugehörige Signalverarbeitung für HF-Sensoren und -datenverbindungen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt bei Frequenzen vom mm-Wellen
- bis hin zum THz-Bereich.
Mehrere Vollzeitstellen (40 Wochenstunden) sind derzeit in den folgenden Bereichen verfügbar:

- HF-Schaltungsentwicklung in SiGe und BiCMOS Technologien
- Design von neuartigen HF-Sensoren und Sensorsystemen
- Hochratige Datenübertragungssysteme
- Digitale Signalverarbeitung für HF-basierte Datenlinks und Sensoren

Ihre Aufgaben:

- Durchführung von Forschungsarbeiten in einem der genannten Bereiche
- Veröffentlichung und Präsentation der wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse in Journalen und auf Konferenzen
- Betreuung von Student*innenprojekten/-abschlussarbeiten

Ihr Profil:

- Überdurchschnittlicher Master
- bzw. Diplomabschluss der Fachrichtung Elektronik, Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik, oder Mechatronik, bzw. eines verwandten Gebiets wie Informatik, Mathematik oder Physik (mit entsprechender Schwerpunktsetzung).
- Erfahrung in zumindest einem der folgenden Gebiete: a) HF-Schaltungen, -systeme und -messtechnik, b) Design von integrierten HF-Schaltungen c) Digitale Signalverarbeitung d) Kombiniertes Software-/Hardwaredesign, z. B. auf Basis von DSPs
- und/oder FPGAs
- Interesse an der Bearbeitung von wissenschaftlichen Fragestellungen sowie selbstständiges und eigenmotiviertes Arbeiten
- Gute IT Kenntnisse, Python, Matlab, Simulationswerkzeuge (HF, Schaltungsdesign, etc.)
- Teamfähigkeit und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2) in Wort und Schrift. Deutschkenntnisse sind ein Vorteil
