We are a specialized vaccine company dedicated to developing, producing, and marketing preventive vaccines for infectious diseases to meet unfulfilled medical requirements. Our primary pipeline includes the pioneering vaccine for the chikungunya virus, the sole Lyme disease vaccine candidate in advanced clinical stages in collaboration with Pfizer, along with vaccines for the Zika virus and other global health concerns.

We are on the lookout for an HR Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist responsible for all recruiting and employer branding activities for specific departments at Valneva Austria. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring we entice, recruit, and retain the most competent staff. The primary objective of the HR Talent Acquisition Specialist is to efficiently and effectively fill vacant positions and assist new hires throughout the entire employee life cycle, including onboarding and administrative duties.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to strategize and outline search tactics for roles of varying responsibilities and seniority levels
  • Source potential candidates from diverse online platforms (professional networks, social media)
  • Explore and suggest new sources for active and passive candidate searches
  • Evaluate and present shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Coordinate interviews and actively participate
  • Draft job offers and address inquiries about compensation and benefits (in close collaboration with HR Business Partners)
  • Handle administrative tasks related to onboarding
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection processes comply with labor laws and regulations
  • Continuous enhancement of employment branding strategies and participation in career events

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven 3-5 years of experience as an HR Recruiter for complex positions
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Capability to manage various relationships with stakeholders in and outside the organization
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and flexibility to work effectively in a compact team
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to juggle multiple projects concurrently
  • Positive and responsible demeanor and the skill to establish constructive working relationships based on trust
  • Proficiency in English and German languages

For legal purposes, we are obligated to disclose the minimum annual salary for this role, which is € , gross. However, our remuneration packages are competitive and commensurate with your qualifications and background.
