The Pharma Analytical Tech Support (PATS) organization is a dedicated team specializing in providing technical support and expertise for pharmaceutical analytical testing.

Our primary responsibilities include method development, validation, remediation, and offering technical guidance to support Quality Control operations.

With a focus on maintaining the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance, PATS collaborates closely with various stakeholders to resolve complex analytical issues and support investigations.

PATS is expanding its expertise and responsibilities towards lean laboratory operations, PAT and laboratory automation. Technology scouting and procedure development in the field is an exciting new opportunity within the PATS space.


Our site in 1210 Vienna is a strategic location for solid drug manufacturing including tablets, coated tablets, granules and implants for the health provision and treatment of livestock and domestic animals.

Most of our products are exported.

In support of our existing team, we are currently looking for:

_ Laboratory Automation and Dissolution Expert (m/w/d)_
- (limited contract until end of 2025 with option of extension / permanent contract)_

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management of development and validation projects in the field of laboratory automation
  • Method development
  • Method validation and transfer
  • Training of colleagues
  • Support for routine implementation
  • Contact person for method development and optimization invitro dissolution
  • Automation of release testing (technology scouting, feasibility)
  • Active participation in Community of Practice and Center of Excellence for dissolution and automation

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Completed studies in the fields of chemistry, pharmacy or a comparable field
  • Practical experience with (U)

HPLC analysis:
Preferably method development; troubleshooting

  • Practical experience with drug release (invitro dissolution)
  • Technology and IT affinity
  • Handson mentality
