Our business

Your role:

  • You drive the development of financial models to simulate the return requirements of investors and coordinate the calculation of the hurdle rates used for investments
  • You are responsible for performing internal valuations based on state of the art valuation methodologies as well as compliant with audit (IFRS, local GAAP) and tax legislations
  • You develop and continuously improve OMV portfolio and capital markets analyses to evaluate the group's financial performance and to support management in business decisions
  • You actively contribute to the definition of OMV's financial strategy and continuously monitor achievement
  • You contribute to the development of Group strategy by performing indepth analysis of the Group's assets portfolio and strategic investments
  • You develop the financial steering framework by conducting state of the art analysis of investment criteria from internal and external perspectives

Your profile:

  • You have a Master Degree in Economics
  • You have minimum 9 years of professional experience
  • Profound knowledge in Controlling, Accounting, Finance and Capital Markets
  • Expertise state of the art investment and value management tools, theories and methods (IRR, NPV, Payback, etc.)
  • Comprehensive understanding of IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards as well as other valuation related accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Stress tolerance, conflict management ability and load capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, selfconfident appearance and assertiveness
  • High individual responsibility and independence in day to day work, as well as in collaborating with Business Partners, Project Managers and other external stakeholders
  • High accuracy and ability to work with complex excel models
  • Proficiency in English and German
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, Bloomberg, TM1)
