The Engineering team at GLI is responsible for testing software and hardware designs that impact products and services across the gambling industry. We are seeking an entry-level Test Engineer to join our team at the Austrian office in Graz . The primary tasks for the Test Engineer role include:

  • Developing a grasp of technical requirements/regulations
  • Understanding client expectations and additional testing demands
  • Identifying and implementing special rules or requirements
  • Creating and executing test methods accurately based on technical and client needs
  • Documenting test outcomes and identified defects effectively
  • Managing projects and tasks within set budgets and timelines

Communications and coordination with clients involve:

  • Establishing and nurturing professional relationships with assigned customers
  • Understanding customer needs and market positioning
  • Proactively updating relevant internal and external parties on testing progress

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, math, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience considered
  • Certification, formal training, or relevant experience may substitute educational requirements
  • Valid Driver's License necessary
  • Proficiency in C++ or other modern object-oriented programming languages
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • Strong attention to quality, details, and deadlines
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
