The Max Perutz Labs are a joint venture between the two universities, dedicated to a mechanistic understanding of fundamental biomedical processes.

The mission of the institute is to analyze and reconstitute complex biological systems across different spatial and temporal scales.

Your academic profile:

Doctoral degree/PhD Outstanding research achievements, excellent publication, funding record and international reputation in experimental and / or theoretical synthetic biology Proven leadership qualities Gender and diversity competence Experience in designing and managing large research projects Passion for education and mentorship, nurturing students and researchers to excel in quantitative synthetic biology at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level Strong communication skills to facilitate crossdisciplinary collaboration Willingness to take on organisational and administrative responsibilities within the Max Perutz Labs and/or the Universities Diversity and gender competence
