We are hiring To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Functional Safety Manager (full-time 38.5 hours).

Stellenbeschreibung

Take over responsibility: You are responsible for functional safety in innovative projects. In this context, you will analyze extensive and complex customer requirements, evaluate novel safety concepts, decide on their use in consultation with relevant experts, verify their implementation and finally evaluate the effectiveness with different safety analyses. You analyze the robustness and probability of failure of components in a novel technology. On this basis, you decide on the use of novel fault tolerance techniques and consider the state of the art

Assess in a structured manner: As a Functional Safety expert, you evaluate safety goals, design safety concepts at HW, SW or system level and perform analysis methods such as FMEDA, FTA or DFA. You independently coordinate the adequate and timely processing of the functional safety tasks in the project team, which is composed of various technical roles and interfaces of semiconductor technology, such as analog design, digital design, design verification, product test and quality experts.

Think holistically: You report progress regularly to higher level management. You coordinate and represent the functional safety topics in a distributed international development environment and work together with internal and external customers.

Qualifikationen

Personality:High level of enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to work in international and interdisciplinary teams, Effective team player with focused on independent working style and with a good knowledge of analog and RF signal chains and digitally assisted analog/RF systems

Education and Languages:Completed technical education (Electrical engineering, Communications engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Sciences, or equivalent), C1 English skills required, German skills are a plus
