Job Description:
For one of our teams based in Kufstein, Tyrol, we are currently looking to hire a (Senior) Scientist with a focus on developing a cell-based propagation assay In this newly created position your main responsibilities will include, but won ́t be limited to:
- Susceptibility studies and literature search
- Propagation of viruses as well as determination of freezing procedure
- Titer determination by TCID50 method prior and after freezing
- Writing of assay development reports as well as validation protocols and reports
- Method Development
- Establishments of virus banks
- Training and mentoring of colleagues
Qualifications:
For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with
- Master degree or PhD in related topic
- Fluent in English written and spoken, German would be beneficial
- Experience working with viruses and knowledge of virus structure/replication/pathology, as well as cell cultures, including aseptic handling
- Expertise with method validations
- Previous experience working in a GMP environment, including proven proficiency in technical writing
- Experience in international project teams would be desired
