Network and Application Security Specialist

Our client is a leading provider of innovative solutions, supporting companies worldwide in ensuring their digital security. They are currently looking for an experienced Network and Application Security Specialist (m/f/d) who shares the commitment to secure IT infrastructures and excellent customer service.

  • Concept, Implementation, and Operation:
    • Develop, implement, and operate the Web Application Firewall (WAF), reverse-proxy, and load balancing systems.
  • Network and Security Support:
    • Provide support on various network and security issues and participate in on-call duty.
  • Product Development:
    • Contribute to the development of new WAF products and services.
  • Technical Support:
    • Support the offering and design process with technical expertise.
  • International Collaboration:
    • Participate in international projects and operations as well as customer interactions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Network Security, preferably with Web Application Firewalls.
  • Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP APM, ASM, and LTM is highly desired.
  • Familiar with common authentication methods (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, RADIUS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
  • Fluent in German and good English skills for communication with clients.
