About us

Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) is a top research center for Electronics and Software Based Systems (ESBS). At three locations (Graz, Villach, Linz), SAL is conducting research along the entire ESBS value chain in the areas of sensor systems, power electronics, intelligent wireless systems, microsystems and embedded systems to develop future-oriented solutions for industrial production, health, energy, mobility, safety and more. Aufgaben
  • Responsibility for lithography systems, mainly track and exposure tools
  • Develop new lithography processes
  • Collaborate with research teams within SAL to fabricate state of the art research vehicles
  • Ensure stable processes and equipment run for the lithography department
  • Evaluate new processes and equipment
  • Stay current with industry advancements and emerging technologies in lithography and semiconductor manufacturing.

Profil
  • MSc / PhD in a relevant engineering field, or equivalent experience
  • Over 5 years of working experience as a lithography process engineer, including hands-on experience with lithography equipment and process development in a cleanroom environment.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in semiconductor lithography
  • Demonstrated experience in other process engineering fields - advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for developing innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to relocate to

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group E (E1 salary = EUR 3.827, paid 14 times a year).
