We are looking to fill the following position Linux Administrator (m/f/d) Your area of responsibility * Plan, operate and monitor hybrid infrastructure (cloud/on-premises) * Develop and document best practice procedures for deployment and maintenance * Drive continuous monitoring and optimisation of system performance and resource usage * Increase automation and shift to infrastructure as code * Containerize & automate workflows and products * Strengthen overall security, especially endpoint protection * Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively enhance infrastructure efficiency * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable architectures Your qualifications profile * Experienced in supporting operational server systems * LPIC, Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications preferred * Solid IT infrastructure knowledge; interest in Kubernetes or configuration management specialization * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git * Advanced Linux skills * Proficient in English, conversational German advantageous What we offer you * Possibility for Homeoffice after successful starting period * Flexible working hours / flexitime * Possibility for professional and personal development * Varied and exciting field of activity * Choice between "Wiener Linien" annual transport pass (Jobticket) or Pluxee meal allowances * Free coffee, tea and fresh fruit * Familiar and innovative mindset * Open corporate culture and no dress code * Company and team building events (indoor skydiving, karting, etc.) * MERKUR BETS offers a gross salary starting at EUR 3.800.-- per month (40 hrs/week) for this position, which exceeds the collective bargaining agreement, with corresponding additional payment offered in accordance with specific qualifications and experience.
