Job Description

The main objective of our Production & Delivery department is to be recognized as the most reliable manufacturer and supplier of Biopharmaceuticals worldwide. Our production facilities, together with our external contractors, suppliers, and partners form a closely-knit global production network dedicated to reliably and punctually supplying customers and patients with high-quality products in every instance.

Our production teams consist of individuals who efficiently manufacture our products. At our production facilities, the motto is always "Safety First, Quality Always" with the aim of continuous improvement. As part of our global production network, our local production sites ensure that raw materials, intermediates, and finished products consistently meet the highest quality standards.

With our new production site in Krems an der Donau, we aim to become a provider of innovative vaccines and immunotherapies for the protection and treatment of livestock and pets. By expanding our biotechnological facilities, our company aims to be a significant employer in Lower Austria, offering attractive career opportunities in various roles within a modern and secure working environment.

For this location in Krems, we are looking for a Process Implementation and Support Specialist (m/f/d):

  • Process transfer and implementation: from site to site for existing processes as well as from Research & Development for new processes in formulation and aseptic filling
  • Process optimization and improvement
  • Collaboration with the Validation department for equipment qualification and process validation
  • Evaluation and implementation of new technologies and systems
  • Change management – Change Control
  • Hands-on support in handling deviations and root cause analyses and leading the same
  • Support in the operational commissioning of new production areas
  • Preparation of work instructions, manufacturing documents, and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or engineering degree in Biotechnology, Process Engineering, (Bio)Chemistry, (Micro)Biology, or similar
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong focus on quality and safety
  • Organizational skills and hands-on mentality
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Professional experience in GMP manufacturing of sterile dosage forms or biologics, or in the food or chemical industry is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, experience with bioproduction, and familiarity with SAP are beneficial

The collective minimum salary for this position is EUR 44,100 gross per year. Depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience, willingness to offer higher remuneration exists.
