Security Incident Coordinator

We are looking for a capable and proactive Security Incident Coordinator with a focus on SIEM operations. In this dual-role, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating security incidents and ensuring the effective functioning of our SIEM systems, enhancing our organization's overall security posture.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all security incidents, both internal and external.
- Coordinate incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery phases.
- Monitor and manage our SIEM system, conducting log analysis, incident detection, and response.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Participate actively in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Manage our Security Incident Module within the ITSM Solution.
What makes you great
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field or completed IT apprenticeship.
- Ideally Demonstrated experience in security incident coordination and SIEM operations.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM technologies and tools (e.g., IBM QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm, ArcSight).
- Familiarity with security best practices, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Platform are a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
