DM Aircraft Maintenance are the dedicated engineering maintenance provider based in Vienna, Austria providing comprehensive maintenance on the Lauda Europe A320 and Ryanair B737 fleet of aircraft.

We are currently recruiting a Technical Operations Liaison Engineer to join our highly skilled engineering team. The Technical Operations Liaison will work as part of a team responsible for the coordination of long term AOGs across shift rotations, ensuring a timely return to service of the aircraft to minimise disruption to the Ryanair operation.

The successful candidate will work with our dedicated team of engineering professionals in Vienna.

This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of long term AOGs across shifts to ensure high quality of handovers and paperwork.
  • Reviewing of material and tooling requirements for AOGs.
  • Liaising with the shiftleader to ensure timely recovery of AOG aircraft.
  • Reporting back to VIE Hangar Manager and Dublin Bridge engineers with updates on complex and long term AOGs.
  • Be point of contact for all enquiries regarding AOGs in VIE.
  • Ensuring all bases in the region report back promptly on the delays at their stations.
  • Monitoring the on-time performance of all aircraft in DMAM region.
  • Any other duties as requested by your Supervisor / Manager.
  • Applicants must hold an EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 license or have a degree in aviation (or similar) and a minimum of 2 years working experience in the aviation industry.
  • We require self-motivated individuals who are able to work without direct supervision.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Good computer literacy is essential.
  • Previous experience with AMOS is an advantage.
  • Line and Hangar experience is desirable.
  • Good communication and organisation skills are essential.
  • Must have a flexible approach to working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Must be willing to work shifts, including weekends.
