Bioinformatics Developer

As bioinformatics developer in our team, you design and establish computational tools for mass spectrometry derived omics data, with the focus on proteomics dataYou setup computational pipelines for downstream processing of different omics datatypes to produce standardized outputs for further applicationsYou create impactful visualizations from omics analyses and implement these in interactive applicationsYou work on ETL libraries to facilitate (meta-)data collection from various sources and upload into our database systemCollaborate with colleagues across the matrix to plan and execute tasks providing support to develop applications for the analysis proteomic data setsAdditionally, you take the lead as a data steward to curate and upload omics studies into our data management system PHD or master's degree with dedicated experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science or a related fieldAdvanced knowledge in Python or RDemonstrated proficiency in working with omics data analysis and visualizationProfound experience in developing and deploying interactive web-applicationsExperience in developing ETLs and nextflow pipelinesYou are familiar with community standards and prerequisites of FAIR data managementKnowledge of mass spectrometry is a plusExcellent communication- and intercultural skills
