Join the MS&T team in Kundl and playa central role in delivering for Novartis patients both in Austriaand around the world.Job DescriptionMain AccountabilitiesYourresponsibilities include but are not limited to:- Independentlyplan, organize, perform and document analytical experiments/ underminimal supervision- Take over responsibility for and utilizeanalytical equipment or specialized facilities as an expert;schedule and perform maintenance and qualification of instruments-Work according to appropriate standards for quality, ethics,health, safety, environment protection, and information security aswell as lead initiatives to ensure continuous improvement-Documentation of raw data, evaluation and interpretation ofresults; propose and actively support the design of nextexperiments- Write protocols, scientific reports or lab proceduresbased on templates or SOPs under minimal supervision- Develop newmethods or optimize existing laboratory methods and contribute tothe development and implementation of new technologies- Performinformation and literature searches under minimal guidance whileactively fostering knowledge exchange- Participate infunction-specific sub teams and fulfil assigned project tasks aswell as responsibilities under supervision – tasks which willinclude the approval of experiments performed by othersWhat supportyou will bring to the role:Essential:- Master of Science with 1year of relevant experience / Bachelor of Science with 3 yearsrelevant experience / Apprenticeship in industry (or equivalenttechnical education) with 10 years relevant experience- Fullprofessional proficiency in spoken and written English- Goodtheoretical and scientific knowledge in the relevant area ofexpertise- Proficient with laboratory and/or technical equipment-Good knowledge of software and computer tools- Good documentationand presentation skills- Basic scientific/technical writingskillsDesirable:- Professional proficiency in spoken and writtenGerman- Experience in the pharmaceutical industryWhy Novartis?Ourpurpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’slives and our vision is to become the most valued and trustedmedicines company in the world.
