Senior Risk Analyst * BAWAG Group is the listed holding company of BAWAG, which is one of the largest banks in Austria with 2.1 million customers. Main Tasks * Analyze new lending and investment proposals including credit quality, collateral and monitoring framework; prepare independent credit opinions on investment proposals for presentation to Credit Committee * Responsible for monitoring the financial and operating risks for elements of the Bank's portfolio of domestic and international financings with a focus on Real Estate loans * Validate internal ratings for counterparties and facilities on an ongoing basis * Review and approve waivers to post signature events, such as contract breaches and restructurings, and on any credit-related changes to contracts in close consultation with other departments * Provide recommendations on credits for transfer to watchlist or workout group * Contribute to the ongoing development of the Bank's risk-related policies and procedures and the Risk division as a whole * Attend in the Credit Committee for relevant and specific transactions * Assist in the development and implementation of various risk related projects by providing respective expertise Your Profile * Experience in Risk Management within major financial institutions, focusing on Corporate and Real Estate financing, syndications, and mezzanine financing * Good understanding of Western European, UK, and US markets (preferred) * Strong knowledge of credit-related legal documentation and covenant structuring * Familiarity with credit risk assessment methodologies, rating agency criteria, and risk-pricing techniques * Proficient in standard computer applications.University degree or equivalent (preferred) * Strong analytical skills with the ability to make quick, sound credit judgmentsCreative problem solver with a "can-do" attitude * Team player, able to work in small teams and perform well under pressure * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, collaborate, and adapt flexibly. * Fluent in English and German Our Offer * Business Talks with the Senior Leadership Team, along with trainings, workshops, and learning stays across various departments, provide inspiring insights and learning opportunities * Mentoring & networking are supported through personal guidance from a buddy within the Senior Leadership Team and access to exclusive networking events (e.g., Trainee Alumni Club, ICON Afterworks) * FlexOffice is our motto Work from your private environment whenever it suits your role * On your office days, you'll work at our modern and easily accessible office near Vienna Central Station * We also offer attractive additional benefits, such as corporate health programs, group insurance, BAWAG sports club membership, and meal subsidies Your point of contact For this position, the full-time minimum gross salary under the collective agreement is EUR 44.476,88 before tax.
