Senior Finance Consultant – SAP SAC

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and BlackLine to enhance financial reporting and analytics.
  • Month-End Close Optimization
    • Support clients in streamlining month-end close operations, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance
    • Assess and implement compliance with HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP accounting standards in financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Financial Process Automation
    • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements using BlackLine and SAC, optimizing workflows and reducing manual efforts.
  • Data Integration and Management
    • Ensure seamless integration of BlackLine and SAC with various ERP systems (SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle) to support financial data consistency.
  • ERP and Financial System Migration
    • Assist in the transition from legacy financial systems to SAP S/4HANA, SAC, or BlackLine, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  • R2R and BlackLine Expertise
    • Demonstrate the ability to understand complex Record-to-Report processes and effectively adopt BlackLine to meet business requirements.
  • Presentation and Workshop Skills
    • Have excellent presentation skills with proven experience in leading client workshops and advising on optimal implementation paths.
  • Show proven expertise in configuring, customizing, and deploying BlackLine solutions.
  • Possess a strong understanding of end-to-end month-end close activities and related financial processes.
  • ERP Integration Experience
    • Have hands-on experience integrating BlackLine with various ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle).
  • Accounting Guidance
    • Be capable of providing expert accounting advice during process transitions.

  • Consulting Experience
    • At least 5+ years of total consulting experience, including 2+ years in Business Process Transition and Finance Transformation.
  • BlackLine Certifications
    • Relevant BlackLine certifications are highly beneficial.
