The SRE is a savvy software engineer who can build and implement software to improve the reliability of our customers' enterprise systems. You will be bridging the gap between developers and IT operations in a DevOps culture and provisioning cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP). Any experience with ServiceNOW is desirable but not mandatory. Site reliability engineers' responsibilities are crucial to the continuous improvement of people, processes, and technology within all of Mindtree's global digital transformations.
Responsibilities:- Provide relief and sustainable resolution to issues within infrastructure.
- Use your experience in software development, systems engineering, and networking to proactively prevent repeatable issues.
- Drive initiatives with partner teams to improve the reliability and performance of the infrastructure through improved system design.
- Join a culture of intolerance to manual activity which results in a highly automated environment delivering scalable solutions.
The Site Reliability Engineering team is a global group of highly technical engineers who are tasked with maintaining and developing the reliability, scalability, and performance of customers' platform and infrastructure.
The ultimate goal of the SRE is to never escalate an issue to an engineering or development team by completely owning the resolution of issues in our customers' environments. They are also tasked with driving forward the operability of the platform to drive down the number of incidents while reducing MTTR.
To accomplish this, the team combines software development, networking and systems engineering expertise, and a strong desire to be challenged by problems of scale and complexity to make our service better for our customers.
This role can be based anywhere in Australia This role also requires candidates to have Australian citizenship due to large programs of work with government clients.
