The Scientific Evaluator position at the Complementary Medicines Evaluation Section and the over-the-counter Medicines Evaluation Section plays a critical role in
ensuring that the TGA is able to meet its industry-agreed target timelines for Registered Complementary Medicine and over-the-counter (OTC) medicine applications, as well
as reducing the risk of application processing delays.
This position/s will primarily evaluate the quality, safety and efficacy aspects of applications for Complimentary and OTC medicines. The evaluator will need to evaluate data within tight timeframes and make sound regulatory conclusions and recommendations. The evaluator will also need to assist with projects as required, such as assisting with the review of scientific guidelines.
