About the role

With the rapid growth of our Government & Administrative Lawpractice, we are seeking a lawyer (1-3 years' PAE) to join our teamin Canberra. The team act on behalf of a range of CommonwealthDepartments and Agencies, primarily in public law litigation. Thishands-on role will see the focus of your practice being indisability insurance access and planning matters under the NationalDisability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The team also do a range ofCommonwealth employee compensation matters, so there is a greatvariety of work on offer. Our Government team is a nationalpractice group, so whilst you will work closely with a small andcollegiate team in Canberra, you will have the support of a widernetwork across each of our offices.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be an admitted lawyerwith 1-3 years' PAE and experience in civil or public lawlitigation preferably within the Commonwealth system. Experienceacross NDIA and workers compensation matters will be highlyregarded. The work requires attention to detail, practicalproblem-solving skills, initiative, and strategic thinking. Ourclients are at the heart of everything we do, so we are looking fora lawyer who can provide exceptional customer service to ourclients.
