Western General Bodyworks Geelong, a newly established repair facility in Geelong, Victoria, is seeking a senior panel shop manager. Through the use of state-of-the-art equipment such as Car-O-Liners, measuring benches, Master Spray booths, infrared drying equipment and multi-spot welders, the repairs we offer are second to none. The ideal candidate will coordinate operations, ensure the smooth running of the workshop, and contribute to business growth by developing customer relationships and managing the workshop.

To be successful in this role, you are required to have:

  • Previous experience working in a smash repair workshop (min. 5 years)
  • Personal smash repair knowledge (panel beating, spray painting, car parts, etc.)
  • Experience in managing staff workloads and scheduling work
  • Knowledge of automotive estimation and quoting (use of IBODY, Audanet is highly advantageous)
  • Must have excellent leadership and customer service skills
  • Workshop management and production
  • Ordering and parts handling
  • Finalize job files ready for invoicing.
